Responsibilities
As a Chat Specialist, you'll be responsible for:
- Handling a wide variety of customer inquiries via online chat, providing accurate information about products and services
- Narrowing down on appointment information to schedule appointments
- Capturing customer contact information for lead generation and client review
- Summarizing interactions based on customer needs for client review
- Developing and maintaining a knowledge base of evolving products and services
- Collaborating with our team to ensure seamless customer experiences
Key Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Previous experience in retail customer service or the automotive industry (not necessary but preferred)
- Basic internet and window-based computer skills
- Strong ability to multitask (gaming experience is a plus)
- Positive and professional demeanor
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to adapt to change and thrive in a fast-paced work environment
- Strong typing skills (at least 35 WPM, 40+ preferred)
- Own computer or laptop with a webcam, second monitor, microphone, and external mouse
- Quiet, dedicated workspace free from distractions (remote position)
- Ability to attend 4 weeks of remote training (Tuesday-Saturday, 11am-7:30pm EDT)
