Job Summary

As an FHA Mortgage Origination Professional, you'll play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service to clients seeking guidance on FHA mortgage policies and procedures. With a background in mortgage origination, you'll utilize your expertise to assist clients effectively, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded. This role offers opportunities for telework after training, based on performance and customer approval, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Responsibilities

As an FHA Mortgage Origination Professional, your key responsibilities will include:

• Providing exceptional customer service by answering calls and emails regarding FHA guidelines and procedures, ensuring that clients receive accurate and timely information.
• Utilizing your mortgage industry knowledge to find answers in a knowledge database for client requests, demonstrating your expertise and commitment to excellence.
• Following standard operating procedures for various topics, systems, and contact channels, ensuring consistency and efficiency in your work.
• Documenting all contacts in a database accurately, maintaining a high level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Staying updated on FHA mortgage processes and procedures, demonstrating your commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED certificate, demonstrating your basic education and foundation for success.
• Minimum of 2 years of mortgage origination experience, including roles such as loan originator, loan processor, junior underwriter, or loan officer, showcasing your expertise and industry knowledge.
• Minimum of 1 year of contact center or telephone customer service experience, highlighting your ability to communicate effectively and provide exceptional service.
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust Security clearance, including a credit check and background investigation, ensuring your suitability for this role.

Nice-to-Haves

While not essential, the following qualifications would be highly desirable:

• Bilingual (Spanish & English), verbal and written, demonstrating your ability to communicate with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong FHA knowledge/background, showcasing your expertise and commitment to the mortgage industry.
• Contact center experience (Omnichannel), highlighting your ability to navigate multiple channels and provide seamless service.
