Experienced Claims Customer Service Representative – Automotive Warranty Coverage and Claims Support

Key Responsibilities
As a Claims Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
- Analyzing information in Vehicle Service Contract and claims system to advise customers of the appropriate benefit amounts
- Requesting and distributing internal information to aid Claims Adjudication Department
- Answering phone and email inquiries and providing information and explanations on the various levels of contract coverage, and claims processes
- Managing workflow, processing, and completing all requests and documents according to established procedures
- Being a team member, working effectively in a friendly team environment
- Being interactive and communicative with management and co-workers in a visible manner, requiring camera usage for training, team meetings, and meetings with management
- Other job duties as assigned
Key to Success
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A minimum of a High School graduate or GED
- Strong organizational and customer service skills with the ability to problem-solve and multitask
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry skills
- The ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with contract holders, agents, dealers, internal staff/upper management, and customers
- Proficient working on a PC, with a working knowledge of MS Office, and the ability to learn new programs quickly
- Type at least 35 wpm, and document information while discussing the claim over the phone
- Automotive Service Department experience is preferred, but not required. Warranty Administrators, BDC Representatives, Automotive Cashier/Receptionist, Service Writers are also encouraged to apply
