The Opportunity
As a Customer Experience Director at arenaflex, you'll have the opportunity to lead a high-profile, high-impact project that will shape the future of our flagship digital property. You'll work closely with a broad matrix of stakeholders, including Product Owners, UX Designers, Content Strategists, Project Managers/Scrum Masters, business requestors, and subject matter experts (SMEs). Your expertise will be invaluable in defining and delivering solutions that create value for stakeholders while balancing user needs, business objectives, and technical capabilities.
Main Responsibilities
As a Customer Experience Director at arenaflex, your key responsibilities will include:
- Liaising between stakeholders, development teams, UX, and content teams to ensure seamless collaboration and effective communication
- Communicating and collaborating effectively with team members to achieve project goals and deliver exceptional results
- Nurturing ideas and solutions, and contributing towards determining roadmap objectives for products in the creation phase
- Supporting the development team as product SME throughout the entire development process, providing expert guidance and oversight
- Leading meetings to identify issues and fixes for projects across teams, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption
- Assisting in the establishment of features, their priority, acceptance criteria, and participating in sizing exercises to ensure accurate project planning
- Identifying, communicating, escalating, and resolving team dependencies and impediments with stakeholders, ensuring smooth project execution
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement customer-centric digital experiences that meet business objectives and user needs
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
- 2+ years of experience working in Web Product Ownership, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional results
- 2+ years of experience building digital customer-facing products at scale, with a strong focus on customer-centricity and user experience
- 2+ years of experience building customer-centric digital experiences (B2C), with a deep understanding of user needs and business objectives
- 2+ years of experience with Agile processes and Kanban, with a strong ability to adapt to changing project requirements
- Proven track record of successfully shipping superior digital products, with a focus on delivering exceptional user experiences
- Strong working knowledge of all key functional areas, including usability, UX, design, marketing, and information architecture, with the ability to collaborate with front-end development and software architecture teams on delivery
- Detailed-orientated and thorough, with strong execution skills and the ability to deliver and measure results in a complex and fluid environment
- Understanding of 'the art of compromise,' with the ability to articulate both business and marketing needs as well as desired end-user experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Displays a growth mindset and a bias towards action, with a strong ability to adapt to changing project requirements
- Knowledgeable in modern web architecture and development, responsive web design, mobile web patterns, performance optimization, SEO, and analytics
