Experienced Chat Moderator – Remote Community Management and Conflict Resolution Specialist

Job Description:

As a Chat Moderator at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

• Moderating the chat of our official Discord server, ensuring that all users adhere to our community guidelines and rules.
• Deleting messages that violate our rules, including but not limited to:

+ Hate speech or discriminatory language + Spam or self-promotion + Harassment or bullying + Infringement of intellectual property rights

• Banning users who repeatedly violate our rules, after a thorough investigation and warning process.
• Muting users who have violated our rules, to prevent further disruption.
• Investigating reports made by users about potential rule violations, and taking swift and fair action when necessary.
• Collaborating with our team to develop and implement community guidelines, and to improve our moderation processes.
• Providing excellent customer service, responding to user inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in community management and conflict resolution.

Qualifications:

* Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to accurately identify and address rule violations.
• Familiarity with Discord and other online community platforms.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience in community management, conflict resolution, or a related field.

• Knowledge of online safety and security best practices.
• Familiarity with arenaflex's products and services.
• Ability to speak multiple languages.
