We're seeking a self-driven, detail-oriented, and collaborative Online/Remote Data Entry Clerk to join our team.
About the Role
As an Online/Remote Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for accurately and efficiently entering data into our systems, maintaining confidentiality, and adhering to HIPAA-compliant data handling rules. This is a part-time, temporary position, with the possibility of transitioning to regular employee status after a successful 90-day training period.
Key Responsibilities
* Accurately and efficiently enter data into arenaflex systems, ensuring high levels of quality and attention to detail
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA-compliant data handling rules when working with children's Protected Health Information (PHI)
- Collaborate with the remote team to ensure seamless data management and efficient workflow
- Participate in regular remote staff meetings, including video conferencing
- Work independently in a confidential environment, with minimal supervision
- Maintain a HIPAA-compliant home office/workspace, ensuring the secure storage and handling of PHI
- Provide own computer and reliable internet, meeting arenaflex's equipment and software requirements
Requirements
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in data entry, preferably in a healthcare or education setting
- Excellent attention to detail, with a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA-compliant data handling rules
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Smart-sheet; experience with data entry software a plus
- Reliable computer and high-speed internet access, with 2 monitors to ensure efficient workflow
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working with children's Protected Health Information (PHI) in a healthcare or education setting
- Familiarity with HIPAA-compliant data handling rules and regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot data entry issues
- Experience with data entry software, such as Electronic Health Records (EHRs) or Practice Management Systems (PMS)
- Certification in data entry, medical records, or a related field
