Job Summary

We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Data Entry Specialist to join our Routing and Logistics Operations team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for accurately and efficiently entering routing requests into our Order Management System (OMS), organizing shipment data, and collaborating with transportation planning analysts to support the flow of goods from our domestic vendors. Responsibilities

As a Junior Data Entry Specialist, you'll have the following key responsibilities:

• Data Entry: Accurately and efficiently enter routing requests from our vendor booking system into our Order Management System (OMS).
• Organizing Routing Requests: Organize routing requests and send them to carrier partners for shipment assignments.
• New User Account Setup: Manage new user account setup in our vendor booking system.
• Shipment Data Management: Maintain an organized file of shipment data to ensure entries are complete and accurate.
• Data Management Best Practices: Adhere to data management best practices and maintain a high standard of accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaboration: Work closely with transportation planning analysts to support the flow of goods from our domestic vendors.

Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

• Education: A high school diploma or GED.
• Experience: At least 1 year of experience working as a data entry specialist.
• Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to spot errors with accuracy and efficiency.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communicator with the ability to build and maintain relationships; you will collaborate with many of our external strategic partners: vendors and carriers.
• Time Management Skills: Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Typing Skills: Excellent typing skills and experience working with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, etc.).
