Job Summary

As a Part-Time Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for providing top-notch customer service, handling customer claims and inquiries, and utilizing our account management systems to drive efficiency and consistency. This is a remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home office. We offer flexible scheduling, with available shifts on Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays, and the opportunity to work approximately 3-29 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

* Customer Service and Claim Intake: Provide positive customer service and technical expertise through prompt, accurate, and courteous responses to customer information needs.

  • Empathy and Support: Offer empathy and support to customers during the claim process, ensuring a seamless and reassuring experience.
  • Claim Documentation: Collect and document all claim details provided by the customer into the claim accurately, maintaining the highest level of precision and attention to detail.
  • Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve customer issues by adhering to client-specific handling instructions, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Call Scripting: Utilize call scripting to ensure consistency and efficiency in handling customer claims and inquiries, driving productivity and quality.
  • Punctuality and Reliability: Remain available for extended hours or additional shifts during peak periods or emergency situations to provide critical support, adhering to break and lunch schedules to maintain productivity and ensure consistent customer service coverage.

Required Skills and Abilities

* Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as police and accident reports, write routine correspondence, and provide detailed accident descriptions.

  • Bi-lingual in Spanish Preferred: While not mandatory, proficiency in Spanish is a valuable asset in serving our diverse client base.
  • Computer Skills: Familiarity with basic computer functions, including Microsoft Word and Excel, and the ability to type at least 40wpm.
  • Communication: Project a confident, clear, and professional telephone presence, providing feedback verbally and written in a positive, professional manner.

Education and Experience

* High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED): Required for this role.

  • 1-2 Years of Quality Assurance Experience: Preferred, but not essential. We're open to training and developing the right candidate.

Network Requirements

* Speed Test: Upon hire, a Speed Test must be run from the computer you'll be working from (www.speedtest.net).

  • Ethernet Connection: Not required, but strongly recommended for optimal performance.
  • Private Network: Must be on a private network, not allowed to work in public locations.
  • No VPNs: Logins must happen in the US, and VPNs are not permitted.
