Key Responsibilities

As a Manager State & Higher Education at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Coaching and developing Field Government Account Managers and designated portfolio management to achieve sales growth and customer satisfaction targets
  • Executing strategic direction for SLED managed travel accounts, including identifying new business opportunities and developing partnerships with key stakeholders
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with State, Local, and Higher Education managed travel accounts to increase sales and awareness of arenaflex corporate travel programs and services
  • Identifying, hiring, onboarding, and training a sales organization of trusted Advisors in the managed travel industry
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales strategies and tactics to drive growth and customer satisfaction
  • Analyzing sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
  • Developing and implementing training programs to ensure that Field Government Account Managers and designated portfolio management have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in sales, account management, or a related field, with a proven track record of success in driving sales growth and customer satisfaction
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to develop and motivate high-performing teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and colleagues
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand and analyze financial data and make informed business decisions

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset in this role:

  • Experience working in the airline or travel industry
  • Knowledge of sales and account management principles and practices
  • Experience developing and implementing sales strategies and tactics to drive growth and customer satisfaction
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to develop and implement business solutions
  • Strong knowledge of sales and marketing analytics tools and technologies
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
