Key Responsibilities
As an Experienced Client / Customer Service Representative, your key responsibilities will include:
- Registering sales on assigned cash register and providing customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service
- Engaging customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services
- Resolving customer issues and answering questions to ensure a positive customer experience
- Modeling and sharing customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience
- Providing customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service
- Registering customer purchases on assigned cash register, collecting cash and distributing change as requested
- Keeping counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, taking inventory, and maintaining records
- Checking in and pricing merchandise as required or as directed by store manager or communicated by the shift leader
- Performing duties as assigned by Pharmacy Manager, Staff Pharmacist, and Store Manager, including utilizing pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information, filling prescriptions, and verifying medicine
- Reporting prescription errors to pharmacist on duty and adhering to Company policies and procedures in relation to pharmacy errors and the Quality Improvement Program
- Handling telephone calls that do not require personal attention of the pharmacist, including those to physicians
- Processing manual claims for third-party program prescription services in a timely and efficient manner
- Assisting and supporting Pharmacy Department on inventory management activities, such as ordering, unpacking, checking, and storing shipment of pharmaceuticals
- Maintaining knowledge of Company asset protection techniques and filing claims for warehouse overages, shortages, order errors, or damaged goods involving Rx drugs
- Ensuring compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products
- Constructing and maintaining displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise
- Assisting with separation of food items and product placement as specified by policies/procedures
- Providing customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print, and creative machine
- Suggestive selling of promotional photo products
- Assumming web pick-up responsibilities, including monitoring orders, filling orders, and delivering orders to customers as they arrive at the store
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or pharmacy technician training preferred
- 1-2 years of customer service experience in a retail or healthcare setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with ease
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Qualifications

- Pharmacy technician certification or training
- Experience working in a pharmacy or healthcare setting
