Key Responsibilities and Duties

As a Customer Care Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Receiving In-bound Calls: Respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide exceptional service to our clients.
  • Listening and Problem Solving: Listen attentively to customers' concerns, solve problems, answer questions, and work with them to find a resolution while showing empathy.
  • Initiative and Proactivity: Take the initiative to truly understand our customers' current challenges, solve them, and use your expertise to proactively help them avoid future challenges.
  • Participating in Special Projects: Participate in special projects, assume new responsibilities, and adjust priorities as requested to ensure the success of our team.

Requirements for Success

To excel in this role, you'll need:

  • Minimum 1 Year Experience in Customer Support: A proven track record of providing exceptional customer service in a call center, banking, insurance, or sales environment.
  • Great Communication Skills: Excellent verbal, written, and listening skills to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues.
  • Relentless Drive to Own Customer Problems: A relentless drive to own customers' problems and think outside the box to resolve them.
  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED: A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a college degree is preferred.
  • Home Office Environment: Ability to commit to having a home office environment that is free of distractions or responsibilities outside of the role during working hours assigned.
  • Paid Comprehensive Training Program: As a condition of employment, you must attend all required training to achieve an optimal learning experience and qualify for this role.

Desirable Skills and Experience

While not required, the following skills and experience would be highly beneficial:

  • Minimum 2 Years Experience in Customer Support: Additional experience in a call center, banking, insurance, or sales environment.
  • Excellent Verbal, Written, and Listening Skills: Strong verbal, written, and listening skills to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues.
  • College Degree: A college degree in a relevant field, such as business, communications, or customer service.
  • Prior Experience in a Work-from-Home Position: Previous experience working from home in a customer support role.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish: The ability to speak, read, and write the Spanish language fluently.
  • Strong Attention to Detail: Ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to Adapt to Change: Ability to adapt to change and work well in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

As a Customer Care Specialist, you'll be working in a remote setting, which requires:

  • Prolonged Periods Sitting at a Desk: Ability to sit for prolonged periods and work on a computer.
  • Flexible Scheduling: Ability to work varying schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Internet Requirements: A minimum internet speed of 15 Mbps on the download side and 3 Mbps on the upload side.
  • General Office Demands: Ability to meet general office demands, including working in a quiet and distraction-free environment.
