About the Role
As a Home-Based Sr. Specialist in Collections, you'll play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving business results. You'll interact with customers, negotiate bill arrangements, and provide personalized solutions to complex account situations. Your expertise will be guided by arenaflex's credit regulations, procedures, and laws, ensuring a seamless and respectful experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Interact with customers to negotiate bill arrangements for both inbound and outbound collections
- Provide a personalized and empathetic experience for credit accountholders, demonstrating courtesy, friendliness, and a deep understanding of their needs
- Responsible for genuine expertise and adherence to all credit regulations, procedures, account fee terms, billing/collections structures, and state and federal laws, guidelines, and policies governing credit and collections
- Demonstrate problem-solving skills through probing or making recommendations for handling exceptional account situations (e.g., bankruptcy, CCC, deceased, legal, fraud, billing disputes, etc.)
- Work in a multi-media environment (emails, phone calls, chat messages, and letters) that's fast-paced and requires prioritization of work
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve customer issues and improve overall customer satisfaction
Requirements:
* High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- 1-2 years of previous customer experience or customer service experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including listening, negotiating, and decision-making abilities
- Experience handling escalated customer complaints
- Ability to apply various facts and reasserts to respond to questions, identify issues, and resolve customer problems
- Strong technical skills, ability to work within multiple systems, and high proficiency with PC/Microsoft applications
- Access to a home workspace that is free from noise distractions
- Hardwired internet at your home location (using an Ethernet cable to directly connect the Target-issued laptop to the modem or router)
- Meet the minimum bandwidth requirement of 40mbps download/5mbps upload
- Ability to interact through a Target-issued internet digital camera for required meetings, training, and/or interactions
- Ability to securely lift and carry up to 25 pounds of equipment
