Job Summary

As a Remote Part-time Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients and members, answering phone calls in a timely manner, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate and complete call documentation, meeting set quality standards, and performing additional projects and tasks as needed.

Key Responsibilities

* Assure the accurate and timely handling of client and member calls with total follow through

  • Provide excellent customer service, being courteous and professional while providing information to callers
  • Answer client and provider questions, including but not limited to claims payment, status, and coverage information
  • Interpret client health plan protocol
  • Review claims status and provide status to member
  • Check tracer documentation
  • Maintain accurate and complete call documentation
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism
  • Return incoming calls
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

* This position is available for part-time hours with a minimum requirement of 20-24 hours/week

  • Applicants must be available between 8 AM and 6 PM Central Time
  • We are only considering candidates from the CST, MST, and PST time zones
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a high-volume healthcare call center required
  • Knowledge of healthcare claims review
  • Health Care/Health insurance background required
  • Experience with BCBS HMOI or other insurance plans a plus
  • Use of multiple systems, including Teams and Excel, Jira is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

* HMO Managed care Medicare Advantage experience

  • Experience with multiple customer service channels, including chat, text, virtual assistant

Technical Requirements

* The recommended internet speed is a minimum of 50 mbps download, 10 mbps upload

  • Please consult with your internet provider or run a speed test to confirm your internet connection meets these requirements
  • arenaflex provides new employees with the necessary equipment to function in their role at no charge to the employee

Compensation and Benefits

* The base pay range for this role is between $19.00 to $20.00 per hour, paid bi-weekly
