Responsibilities

As a Part-time Customer Support Representative – Chat Specialist, your primary focus will be on engaging with customers through online chat, providing accurate information about our products and services, and turning conversations into leads that drive revenue for our clients. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a wide variety of customer inquiries via online chat, ensuring timely and accurate responses that meet customer needs
  • Providing detailed information about our products and services, including features, benefits, and pricing
  • Scheduling appointments and capturing customer contact information for lead generation and client review
  • Summarizing interactions based on customer needs for client review and analysis
  • Developing and maintaining a comprehensive knowledge base of our evolving products and services
  • Collaborating with internal teams to resolve customer issues and improve overall customer satisfaction

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Previous experience in retail customer service or the automotive industry (not necessary but preferred)
  • Intermediate internet and window-based computer skills, with a strong ability to multitask and adapt to new technologies
  • Positive and professional demeanor, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to change and thrive in a fast-paced work environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work 4-hour time blocks daily, with flexible scheduling after completion of training
  • Must be able to attend 5 weeks of training Monday – Friday from 4PM – 8PM
  • Must be able to work a minimum of 16+ hours per week
  • Must be able to type at least 35 WPM, with 40 and above preferred
