Job Summary

As a Manager State & Higher Education, you'll be responsible for investing in the future of arenaflex's people as they execute strategic direction of SLED managed travel accounts. You'll coach and help to professionally develop Field Government Account Managers and designated portfolio management. Your primary goal will be to increase sales, establish formal partnerships, and broaden awareness of arenaflex corporate travel programs and services to State, Local, and Higher Education managed travel accounts.

Key Responsibilities

* Coach and develop Field Government Account Managers and designated portfolio management to achieve sales and revenue growth targets

  • Execute strategic direction of SLED managed travel accounts, including identifying new business opportunities and developing sales strategies
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with State, Local, and Higher Education managed travel accounts, including identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
  • Develop and implement sales and marketing plans to increase awareness and adoption of arenaflex corporate travel programs and services
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service, to achieve business objectives
  • Identify and develop trusted Advisors in the managed travel industry to join arenaflex's sales organization
  • Hire, onboard, and train sales organization to ensure they have the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in the managed travel industry

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, marketing, or a related field, with a focus on managed travel or a related industry
  • Proven track record of success in sales and revenue growth, with a strong understanding of sales strategies and tactics
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, partners, and employees
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and experience

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field

  • Experience in the airline or travel industry, with a focus on managed travel or a related area
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing sales and marketing plans, with a strong understanding of sales strategies and tactics
  • Experience in hiring, onboarding, and training sales teams, with a focus on developing trusted Advisors in the managed travel industry
  • Strong understanding of arenaflex's products and services, including our corporate travel programs and services
