Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Associate, you will be responsible for:

  • First Point of Contact: Answering incoming calls from customers and Service Providers, responding to customer emails, texts, and web chat inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Booking Support: Helping customers with bookings, including booking a service, canceling, and rescheduling, as well as assisting Service Providers with questions or issues regarding Work Orders and policy questions.
  • Software Troubleshooting: Assisting customers and Service Providers with troubleshooting software issues, ensuring that all technical problems are resolved efficiently and effectively.
  • Team Collaboration: Working as part of a fully remote team, utilizing technology that allows for team communication, training, and meetings.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Analytical Skills: The ability to analyze customer emails and provide thoughtful responses that address all aspects of a customer's concern.
  • Communication Skills: The ability to handle incoming phone calls from customers without getting nervous, and to communicate effectively with customers and Service Providers.
  • Multitasking: The ability to track multiple issues at the same time, ensuring that all customer inquiries are addressed promptly and efficiently.
  • Technical Skills: The ability to troubleshoot software malfunctions and to work efficiently on a remote-based team of co-workers.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Customer Service Experience: Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a call center or customer service environment.
  • Technical Background: Familiarity with software applications and technical systems, including troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Remote Work Experience: Previous experience working in a remote environment, with a strong understanding of the challenges and benefits of remote work.
