Job Details Responsibilities:
- Lead planning sessions, set timelines, assign tasks, and manage engagements
- Guide and mentor junior staff throughout the audit process
- Review and prepare clear, well-documented work papers
- Monitor project status, suggest process improvements, and leverage technology
- Handle all phases of audits, including drafting reports
- Engage in client networking and support business development efforts
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
- 3+ years of progressive public accounting experience with a focus on small & local government clients (examples include cities, municipalities, counties, etc.).
- CPA license preferred, but not required.
