Video Editor Needed For TWO YouTube Channels - Long-form 4K Nature Relaxation + Talking Boat Tours

We are looking for a long-term video editor for our two different YouTube channels. Hoping to build an ongoing relationship with the right person. Need light cinematic editing, delicate audio balancing, color correction + some minor enhancement (saturation & contrast), pacing, simple titles/transitions, and occasional music. Please note: No AI generated audio or visual content will be permitted on these projects. FIRST CHANNEL - RELAXING AMBIENT VIDEOS Our first channel features slow, peaceful nature footage, scenic locations, and relaxing natural sounds meant for relaxation, background entertainment while working or studying, etc. The editing style should feel clean, flowing, calming, cinematic, and not distracting in any way. The first 5 minutes should start with one of the more stunning or impressive segments to draw the viewer in early. The videos tend to be around 1 hour long, but we then create longer, 2-4 hour long mashups by combining footage from multiple videos. We supply the unedited footage, filmed with an iPhone 17 Pro. The clips should be cleaned up (beginnings and ends trimmed to remove any hesitations, resets or camera bumps or shakes), arranged in an order that makes sense (clips from the various gardens and locations should be together to give a well rounded sense of those spaces, NOT mixed up in a random order), create a flow that's paced for a relaxation and leisure. The in-camera audio should be cleaned up (removing wind noise and replacing with relevant ambient audio from other clips that blend well or with other real audio of birds, gentle breezes, water fountains or lakes if relevant, etc. No graphics or titles will be necessary on these videos. We release two versions of most of our videos- one with natural sounds and one with peaceful, ambient solo piano or solo guitar music (no voices). How would you price this for the second variation if it's not a completely new edit? SECOND CHANNEL - BOAT TOURS Our second channel (launching soon) will feature 15–20 minute boat tours with the owner speaking on camera while walking through the boat, the decks, the cabins, etc. These videos will include b-roll footage, ambient & voice audio cleanup, pacing edits, and some simple titles/graphics. The edit will include tasteful B-roll montages to break up the tour and some appropriate background music to set the tone. We want these to have a fun summer "boat-life" vibe with minor variations depending on the type of boat. We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience editing YouTube videos
• Understands cinematic pacing and viewer retention
• Can create clean, professional edits
• Can balance ambient sound, birds, etc., and music well
• Is reliable and communicates clearly
• Can maintain a consistent editing style across videos

Typical tasks may include:

• Cutting and organizing footage
• Adding b-roll
• Audio cleanup, replacing (if needed) and leveling
• Color correction + minor contrast adjustments & saturation boost
• Simple titles/transitions
• Tasteful Music integration (Extra important for the nature videos)
• Exporting finished 4K YouTube-ready videos

Turnaround time is important. We release a long-form video every Sunday at 12pm Eastern Standard Time so we need the videos finished a couple days before so we have time to prep those posts. Please let us know what your expected turnaround times are for these two different types of videos. We do have a subscription to Epidemic Sound for sound effects and music, but are open to your music licensing options if you have them. This is intended to be a long-term working relationship with recurring projects for the right editor. When applying, please send:

We may request a 5 minute sample edit using footage from our ambient channel from anyone we think might be a good fit. Most of our clips are longer and some benefit from being slowed down to 50% playback speed to achieve the relaxing/cinematic look, so not many clips will end up in a 5 minute edit. That's okay! I don't want to see editing skills flexed by cramming in a bunch of clips at the cost of speeding up pacing and throwing off the flow.
