Job Summary

As an Experienced Engineering Manager at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for leading a team of engineers and making key decisions that impact our cross-functional software development projects. You'll work closely with code, technical details, and data to drive architectural planning, code reviews, and risk assessments. Your role will involve discussing bugs and technical challenges in-depth, representing your team and technology in cross-functional meetings, and collaborating with various teams across software, services, and AI/ML.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead a team of engineers and make key decisions that impact cross-functional software development projects

• Work closely with code, technical details, and data to drive architectural planning, code reviews, and risk assessments
• Discuss bugs and technical challenges in-depth and represent your team and technology in cross-functional meetings
• Collaborate with various teams across software, services, and AI/ML
• Help define requirements and objectives for cross-functional software projects
• Create a multi-year roadmap and lead the design and execution phases of software development
• Oversee the work of some of the brightest engineers in the industry

Minimum Qualifications

* Strong understanding of operating systems fundamentals and mobile device support constraints

• Proven ability to drive complex, cross-functional projects, managing partnerships while staying hands-on technically
• Clear decision-making based on data rather than intuition
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
• Enthusiasm for working in a diverse, global team, fostering collaboration, and supporting your engineers

Preferred Qualifications

* 2+ years of engineering management experience

• Proven ability to recruit, develop, and retain top engineering talent
• Experience with API development and working with API consumers
