Daily Responsibilities of a Claims Processor - Data Entry Specialist

• This is an entry-level claims data entry role that requires a high level of attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
• You'll be responsible for scanning, tracking, and processing claims and claims correspondence, as well as researching any claims that come back with errors to identify and correct the issues.
• Heavy data entry is a significant component of this role, and you'll need to be comfortable with high-volume data entry and able to research information within electronic records.
• Your performance will be evaluated based on production numbers and attendance, with a focus on meeting or exceeding productivity targets.
• You'll be expected to enter 20 claims per hour with a minimum accuracy rate of 97%.

Schedule and Compensation

This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $15 per hour, with a 3-month contract that includes the opportunity to extend or convert to a permanent role. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9am to 6pm.

Requirements of a Claims Processor - Data Entry Specialist

• High School Diploma or GED
• 6+ months of experience working in data entry, with a strong background in typing and data entry software
• Typing skills: you'll need to be comfortable with high-volume data entry and able to type at least 35 words per minute
• Ability to work from home (WFH) with a reliable smartphone, high-speed internet, and a private workspace
• Fully vaccinated
