Experienced Deposit Data Entry and CIF Specialist – Tax Reporting and Compliance Expert

Job Summary

As a Deposit Data Entry and CIF Specialist at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our Customer Information Files (CIF) and deposit accounts. You'll work closely with our front-line teams to ensure that all documentation is processed accurately and efficiently, and that our deposit accounts adhere to compliance and audit guidelines. This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Maintain Customer Information Files (CIF) and deposit accounts via documentation submitted by the front line utilizing basic data entry functions

• Process the following reports and tasks on a daily basis:

+ Dormancy + Deceased + Product Changes + Pending Closed + Interest Dropped

• Assist the front line through the phone and email queues
• Balance Safe Deposit Box Settlement and CD/IRA Settlement
• Manage CD/IRA interest & distribution checks
• Update DDA, CD, and special rates as directed by Finance
• Handle year-end reporting and complete tax corrections as applicable for interest-bearing accounts, including Health Savings Accounts and IRAs

Essential Qualifications

* High School diploma required; one or more years of related bank or accounting experience preferred

• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of customer and bank information
• Ability to work independently and maintain visual attention and mental concentration for extended periods of time
• Ability to perform duties and make decisions under frequent time pressures
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office required

Preferred Qualifications

* Knowledge of bank policies, procedures, and Federal Regulations

• Experience with Jack Henry Xperience system (not required)
