Job Summary
As a Full Stack Data Engineer at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data processing systems that support our business operations. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including business, engineering, and data technology groups, to enable a culture of learning and collaboration. You'll also have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the development of new product features using data.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, build, and maintain large-scale data processing systems that support business operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable a culture of learning and collaboration
- Work on cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the development of new product features using data
- Develop and maintain data pipelines that bring to life business metrics and integrate with our core product functions
- Model data to power analytics and inform business decision-making
- Work with big data technologies like Spark or Flink and comfortable working with web-scale datasets
- Develop strong documentation and data debugging skills
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of high-quality code
- Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to develop and deploy machine learning models
- Develop and maintain data visualizations and reports to support business decision-making
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering, software engineering, or related field
- Strong understanding of data processing systems, including batch and real-time processing
- Experience with big data technologies like Spark or Flink
- Strong programming skills in languages like Java, Scala, or Python
- Experience with data modeling and data warehousing
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems like Git
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, software engineering, or related field
- Experience with cloud-based data processing systems like AWS or GCP
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI
- Experience with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch
- Strong understanding of data security and compliance regulations
