Position Overview
As a Bilingual Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service to child support clients across the state of Ohio. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Answering incoming calls in a timely manner and responding to client inquiries with accuracy and professionalism
- Providing callers with clear and concise information about their accounts, policies, and procedures
- Effectively redirecting callers to the appropriate area or agency when necessary
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of procedures and systems to ensure seamless service delivery
- Communicating client concerns and feedback to management to drive continuous improvement
- Researching and processing all correspondence received by email, fax, and mail
- Possessing excellent customer service skills, including tact, patience, and courtesy
- Exhibiting the ability to diffuse upset customers and deliver bad news effectively
- Handling high call volumes with ease and maintaining a high level of productivity
- Demonstrating strong oral and written communication skills
- Working under pressure and effectively multi-tasking between calls and correspondence
Required Experience and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent
- Fluency in both English and Spanish
- At least one year of prior experience in an area of service delivery, customer service, call center technology, or a related field
- Proficiency in data entry skills, including keyboard, mouse, and 10-key pad
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office
- Excellent customer service skills, including the ability to work with diverse populations and handle high-pressure situations
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- Experience working in a call center or customer service environment
- Familiarity with child support or human services industry
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Experience with data entry software and systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
