Key Responsibilities and Job Elements:

As an Area Manager at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading a team of hourly workforce: Support, mentor, and motivate your team to achieve exceptional performance, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintaining safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises: Collaborate with support teams, including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources, to develop plans that meet business objectives.
  • Collaborating with support teams: Work closely with various teams to ensure seamless communication, coordination, and execution of business plans.
  • Physical demands: Lift up to 49 pounds, frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach, stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts, and work in an environment with variable temperatures and weather conditions.
  • Continuous learning and growth: Participate in training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge, and contribute to the growth and success of our Operations network.

  • Middle mile: Where the order is hauled to your area.

Essential Qualifications:

* Leadership experience: Proven leadership experience in a customer-facing or Operations environment.

  • Problem-solving and analytical skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Physical demands: Ability to lift up to 49 pounds, frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach, stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts, and work in an environment with variable temperatures and weather conditions.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Operations experience: Experience in an Operations environment, with a focus on customer service and delivery.

  • Customer service experience: Proven customer service experience, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Leadership certifications: Leadership certifications, such as Six Sigma or Lean, are a plus.
