Job Responsibilities
As a Data Analyst at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:
- Working with large, messy, disparate datasets: You will analyze and manipulate complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that inform business decisions.
- Developing data visualization: You will create impactful Tableau dashboards to display and quantify the effects of changes and specific business challenges.
- Engaging with cross-functional teams: You will collaborate with Operations, Finance, and Product groups to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and latency across multiple operations and systems.
- Leveraging scripting languages: You will use Python (or other scripting languages) to automate reporting tasks, such as metrics prioritization and outlier recognition.
- Documenting processes and sharing expertise: You will document your methods and share your knowledge with colleagues, mentoring them as you become a Subject Matter Expert.
Key Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Excellent SQL skills: 2-4 years of experience with SQL, with the ability to govern data from multiple tables while maintaining data integrity.
- Creativity with a User Experience basis: 1-2 years of experience with Tableau, with the ability to create impactful dashboards.
- Business Operations Fluency: A strong understanding of business operations, with a background in Supply Chain management, ideally with transportation experience.
- Excellent communication skills: The ability to work cross-functionally and communicate complex ideas to stakeholders.
- Advanced experience with SQL and Tableau: A strong background in SQL and Tableau, with experience working with large datasets.
- Experience with e-commerce operations or parcel service operations: A background in e-commerce or parcel service operations, with experience working with complex logistics systems.
- Experience with Python or other scripting languages: Familiarity with Python or other scripting languages, with experience automating reporting tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with data manipulation tools: Experience with tools like Knime, Alteryx, R, Tableau Prep, etc.
- Certifications in data analysis or related fields: Certifications in data analysis, business intelligence, or related fields.
