Experienced Full Stack Data Analyst – Financial Planning Systems (Part Time/Remote) at arenaflex

As a Senior Analyst in our Financial Planning Systems team, you'll be part of a dynamic and collaborative environment where you'll have the opportunity to explore a wide range of possibilities, both in and out of the office. With a unique blend of financial and IT expertise, you'll play a critical role in supporting and developing our financial systems applications, as well as serving as an internal advisor to our finance teams to identify opportunities for automation and create effective solutions.

What You'll Do

As a Senior Analyst, you'll be responsible for:

• Maintaining the Hyperion planning application, ensuring accurate and timely financial data for forecasting and actuals
• Reviewing and approving data from Hyperion Financial Management and regulatory sources
• Investigating and resolving issues with data, including divisional roll-ups and intercompany transactions
• Maintaining system upkeep, including client permissions and access
• Providing support to clients with system issues, existing reports, forms, and models
• Assisting with the preparation of detailed scenarios and analytical results analyses on complex financial issues and competitive industry studies
• Facilitating and completing monthly headcount process using Hyperion
• Updating Hyperion Planning with organizational changes, coordinating with regulators and GL organization
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to determine reporting business requirements, proposing and presenting effective solutions
• Creating Essbase cubes, Planning Applications, Reports, and estimating and planning models for finance divisions

What You'll Need for Success

To excel in this role, you'll need:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Data Systems, or related field
• 2 years of experience in a finance role, including experience with financial summaries, financial modeling, and analysis
• Strong IT foundation, including experience with Prophet and complex and social data structures
• Familiarity with Hyperion, including development and implementation experience (including Intelligent Disclosure, Essbase, Planning)

• Skills, Licenses, and Certifications:
• Ability to adapt and be flexible in the use of analytical methodologies related to financial issues
• Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve problems
• Meticulous with a focus on accuracy and ability to prioritize tasks
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
