Personal & Household Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, tech-savvy Personal & Household Operations Assistant to support a busy entrepreneurial couple managing multiple homes, frequent travel, and a dynamic lifestyle. This role is for someone who genuinely enjoys making life run smoothly. The right person is positive, resourceful, emotionally steady, highly organized, and naturally anticipates needs before they arise. You should enjoy creating calm, solving problems, managing moving pieces, and helping busy lives feel lighter and more supported. This is not a corporate executive assistant role, and it is not a childcare position. It is a highly trusted support role focused on household operations, lifestyle coordination, travel logistics, scheduling, organization, wellness support, and day-to-day life management. You will become an important part of helping our household operate seamlessly behind the scenes.

Responsibilities

Household & Lifestyle Operations

  • Help manage day-to-day household operations across multiple properties
  • Coordinate vendors, service providers, maintenance appointments, deliveries, and contractors
  • Ensure homes remain organized, stocked, and running smoothly
  • Assist with groceries, household inventory, healthy food stocking, and recurring household needs
  • Help oversee vehicle-related logistics, maintenance, and appointments
  • Support Airbnb/income property coordination as needed

Scheduling & Personal Support

  • Manage appointments, reservations, reminders, and personal scheduling
  • Coordinate closely with an existing Executive Assistant to ensure alignment between personal logistics and professional commitments
  • Coordinate health, wellness, medical, beauty, and fitness-related appointments and routines
  • Help manage workout schedules, recurring wellness routines, and healthy lifestyle logistics
  • Assist with gifting, birthdays, special occasions, and social coordination
  • Help manage calendars and ensure important details do not fall through the cracks
  • Reduce day-to-day mental load through proactive support and follow-through

Travel Coordination

  • Coordinate domestic and occasional international travel logistics
  • Manage itineraries, reservations, transportation, and travel-related organization
  • Occasionally travel ahead of trips to help prepare homes or assist with logistics
  • Be available for occasional travel as needed

Administrative & Operations Support

  • Manage online ordering, research, returns, tracking, and general life administration
  • Create and maintain organized digital systems and household documentation
  • Use modern tools, apps, and AI platforms to improve organization and efficiency
  • Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion

Qualifications

  • Live in Austin, Texas and able to travel
  • 4-year college degree preferred
  • Experience as a personal assistant, executive assistant, administrative assistant, household assistant, or operations-focused support role
  • Comfortable with Apple products, shared calendars, travel platforms, AI tools, and digital organization systems
  • Valid driver’s license and passport
  • Ability to occasionally work flexible hours when needed
  • Ability to travel occasionally
  • Referrences required
