Job Summary HR Service Jobs is seeking a highly proficient and culturally fluent Virtual Translator – English ↔ Yoruba to support remote translation and interpretation tasks across digital platforms. As a translator, you will play a key role in breaking language barriers by ensuring clear and accurate communication for our diverse client base. Key Responsibilities

Translate written and audio content from English to Yoruba and vice versa with a high degree of accuracy.

Review and edit translated materials to maintain quality and tone consistency.

Provide live interpretation for virtual meetings, video calls, and recorded content when required.

Localize website, app, or marketing content to resonate with Yoruba-speaking audiences.

Maintain confidentiality and cultural relevance in all communications.

  • *

Collaborate with project managers, clients, and other translators to meet deadlines and ensure high-quality output.

Use digital tools and software to manage assignments and translations efficiently.

  • Required Skills and Qualifications

Fluency in both English and Yoruba (written and spoken) is mandatory.

Excellent grammar, syntax, and vocabulary in both languages.

Strong comprehension of cultural nuances, dialects, and idiomatic expressions.

Proficiency in using translation tools and online communication platforms.

Ability to work independently and deliver under strict deadlines.

High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Minimum 1 year of experience in translation or interpretation services (freelance or employed).

Experience working with international clients or multilingual content is preferred.

Familiarity with subtitle creation or transcription is an added advantage.

Most assignments will be deadline-based, with occasional real-time interpretation during standard business hours (GMT/WAT preferred).
