Security Engineer - Third Party Security

In this role, you will play a crucial part in protecting our company and our customers from potential security threats through the management and oversight of our third party vendors. Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of Netflix's security infrastructure, policies, and procedures. Identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities posed by third party vendors and develop strategies to mitigate them. Conduct regular audits and assessments of third party vendors to ensure compliance with security standards and contractual agreements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate and onboard new third party vendors, ensuring they meet the necessary security requirements. Act as the primary point of contact for all security-related concerns and inquiries from third party vendors. Monitor and analyze security events and incidents involving third party vendors and take appropriate action to address any issues. Implement and maintain security controls and measures to protect Netflix's data and systems from potential threats originating from third party vendors. Stay up-to-date on the latest security trends, technologies, and best practices, and make recommendations for their implementation. Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to provide updates on third party vendor security and address any concerns. Participate in the development and maintenance of third party security policies and procedures. Conduct training and awareness sessions for third party vendors to promote a strong security culture. Collaborate with external parties, such as government agencies and industry partners, to share information and best practices related to third party security.
