Job Description:

Overview

• Role Type: Part-time contract (UKG Technical Resource)
• Reporting Structure
• Direct reporting to Joe
• Daily collaboration with HR team and Fatima
• Work Location: Fully remote
• Contract Duration
• Initial term through end of year (approximately 8 months)
• Potential for extension based on workload and performance
• Not currently intended to convert to a full-time role

Hours & Availability

• Estimated Weekly Hours:
• Typically 20 25 hours/week (range of 15 30 hours depending on workload)
• Schedule Expectations
• Must be available during Alliant core business hours
• Flexible scheduling permitted outside of required collaboration times
• Workload may vary, with some weeks requiring more daytime availability for meetings
• Additional Considerations
• Open to candidates balancing another part-time role, with prior alignment on availability

Role Focus

• Primary Focus: Technical (not functional)
• Internal Team Responsibilities (Already Covered):
• Day-to-day HRIS administration
• Basic configuration and troubleshooting
• Primary Gap
• Advanced technical expertise in integrations, APIs, webhooks, and system architecture

Key Responsibilities

UKG Technical Support

• Design, build, and maintain integrations between UKG and downstream systems
• Develop and manage APIs and webhooks
• Reduce reliance on UKG vendor for technical configurations and setup

Architecture & Documentation

• Create process flow diagrams
• Develop solution architecture diagrams illustrating UKG within the broader system ecosystem
• Build data flow diagrams for cross-system interactions
• Document and maintain a comprehensive HR systems inventory

Project Support (Multiple Workstreams)

• Support UKG Docebo (LMS) integration
• Automate data feeds for Finance systems (currently undergoing transition)
• Assist with position management automation
• Contribute to potential future org chart platform integration
• Enable and improve reporting automation across HR systems

UKG Environment

• Platform: UKG Pro
