Special Education Teacher Online | North Carolina
Seeking a Special Education Teacher to provide onsite instructional support in a school setting located in Elizabeth City, NC. This contract position involves managing a caseload of 20-25 students, delivering tailored education services while adhering to individual learning plans. Responsibilities include:
- Delivering specialized instruction to students with diverse learning needs
- Developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborating with school staff to monitor student progress
- Utilizing telehealth methods to support special education services when appropriate
- Maintaining accurate documentation and communication with families
Desired qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification
- Experience managing a caseload of special education students
- Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
- Ability to work within a structured school schedule
- Effective communication and organizational skills
Work schedule is from 7:50 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
