Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Data Entry Coordinator to join our remote team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for managing client interactions, resolving issues, and processing utilization review requests. If you have a strong background in Workers Comp utilization review, medical terminology, and Microsoft Office, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage and interact with clients and their staff on a daily basis, ensuring timely and effective communication

• Assist with all client issue resolution in a timely manner, providing exceptional support and service
• Receive and process referrals (prospective, retrospective, concurrent, reconsiderations, and appeals) from providers and adjusters, entering them into proprietary software and following through on the process until completion
• Obtain authorization from adjusters to proceed with the review for all provider referrals when required
• Assign UR requests to a physician reviewer based on protocols and state guidelines
• Pay close attention to detail and be timely with all responses, either via telephone or email
• Maintain various logs and perform other duties as assigned
• Participate in periodic, random QA reviews of your work for accuracy and adherence to protocol and best practices

Essential Qualifications

* 3 years of experience in Workers Comp utilization review

• 2 years of experience in medical terminology
• 3 years of experience with Microsoft Office
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with clients and their staff effectively
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with proprietary software and utilization review processes

• Knowledge of state guidelines and protocols for Workers Comp utilization review
• Certification in medical terminology or a related field
• Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
