Responsibilities
As a Part-Time Pharmacy Technician and Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:
- Performing duties assigned by the Data Entry Manager, including answering phones, responding to orders, re-orders, and general customer inquiries
- Handling and resolving client complaints and inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Triage incoming faxes by facility/department and in accordance with cutoff times
- Clarifying orders as needed
- Providing excellent customer service and support to patients and healthcare professionals
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and files
- Collaborating with the Data Entry Manager to ensure seamless communication and workflow
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Active NJ Board of Pharmacy, Pharmacy Technician License
- Previous experience in pharmacy, with LTC pharmacy experience preferred
- Knowledge of brand name and generic medications
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Moderate to advanced computer skills, including proficiency in frameworks and ECM knowledge
- Great telephone etiquette and communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and healthcare software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
