Job Summary

As a Full Stack Data Analyst, you'll play a critical role in driving a culture of safety, efficiency, and growth within our Quality Control division. You'll analyze data to identify trends and performance metrics, and use your findings to inform business decisions and drive process improvements. Your expertise will help us maintain our commitment to low costs, modernization, and compliance, giving us a competitive edge in the industry.

Responsibilities and Expectations

As a Full Stack Data Analyst, your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing and assisting others in the Quality Control group in ideal data collection, validation, and root cause analysis on data components
  • Helping to create and present results from complex data and analysis for both technical and non-technical clients and leaders
  • Assisting with exploring ad-hoc requests resulting from emerging maintenance issues and providing logical answers to enable Senior Leadership to make business decisions while balancing existing project responsibilities
  • Presenting insights, trends, and potential recommendations by utilizing data visualization tools supporting the relevant marks of the investigation to ease partner understanding
  • Helping to create and disseminate specific queries to pull and coordinate data from various sources, establishing the rhythm, and approving the need of the data requirements
  • Identifying irregularities in processes through reviews/audits and conveying findings to the team
  • Assessing the effectiveness of processes and methods by observing for patterns and errors
  • Ensuring that a compliance mindset is at the forefront of every decision
  • May perform other work responsibilities as directed by Group Leader

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A strong ability to collect, organize, analyze, and interpret large amounts of data with care and accuracy
  • The capacity to effectively listen, understand, and communicate ideas and present them in writing, verbally, or through presentations to diverse audiences
  • The ability to evaluate business issues, identify valuable opportunities for data needs, and interpret resulting metrics
  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools and capabilities, such as Tableau, Alteryx, and QuickBase (desired)
  • The ability to grasp the issue, summarize, and perform root cause analysis on data, and provide recommendations using logic and reasoning
  • The ability to use PowerPoint to build presentations for verbal communications (desired)
  • Past internship, capstone project, or research coursework experience (desired)
  • The ability to work independently in a team-oriented, help/group-focused environment
  • The ability to focus on responsibilities seriously and be a self-motivated individual
  • Past internship experience in a related field (desired)
  • The ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
  • The ability to plan and support large business initiatives
