The CEO will lead the organization through a period of transformation,bringing clarity, structure, and execution to support long-term, sustainable growth. This role is particularly well-suited for a leader who thrives in moments of change,someone energized by rebuilding,operatingwithin ambiguity, andestablishingthe systems and strategyrequiredto scale impact. This is not a purely strategic role. Given the current size of the organization, the CEO must be both visionary and hands-on,setting direction while directly driving execution and ensuring ideas translate into measurable outcomes. Overseeing an approximate $3M budget and a core team of three staff members, alongside a broader network of consultants, facilitators, and partners, this leader will build the infrastructure, partnerships, and funding streams necessary to support rapid growth whilemaintainingprogram integrity and mission alignment. The organization is targeting significant near-term growth, with aspirations to scale from approximately $3M to $10M+ in revenue over the next several years. Scope & Impact

  • Translate the organization’s long-term vision and 2030 impact goals into actionable annual strategies, KPIs, and operational plans
  • Lead and evolve a high-performing, mission-aligned team, fostering a culture rooted in integrity, accountability, and innovation
  • Oversee a ~$3M organizational budget, ensuring strong financial stewardship, forecasting, and sustainable growth
  • Drive and execute a diversified revenue strategy, including events-based fundraising, grants, sponsorships, institutional funding, and donor development
  • Demonstrate consistent year-over-year revenue growth and expand funding sources beyond existing channels
  • Expand and strengthen partnerships across global stakeholders, including Indigenous communities,veteransorganizations, educators, and international collaborators
  • Ensure program excellence across both in-person and digital delivery models,maintainingfidelity to neuroscience-based methodologies
  • Champion data-driven impact measurement and storytelling todemonstrateoutcomes and unlock new funding opportunities
  • Serve as the primary liaison to the Board of Directors, strengthening governance and supporting board engagement and expansion
  • Build operational infrastructure, systems, and processes that enable scale while preserving agility
  • Represent the organization externally, elevating its brand as a leader in trauma-informed, evidence-based transformation

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degreerequired; advanced degree in business, nonprofit management, public administration, psychology/neuroscience, or related field preferred
  • 7–10+ years of progressive leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
  • Demonstrated success leading and scaling nonprofit or social impact organizations, ideally across multiple programs or geographies
  • Proventrack recordof driving significant fundraising growth, ideally achieving 20–25% year-over-year increasesinrevenue streams
  • Experience diversifying revenue sources across individual giving, events, grants, institutional funding, and partnerships
  • Strong financial and operational acumen, including experience managing budgets and building sustainable business models
  • Experience working with diverse and underserved populations, such as veterans, Indigenous communities, incarcerated individuals, or educators
  • Ability to build and manage high-impact partnerships across sectors and cultures
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas and data into compelling narratives
  • Experienceoperatingin hands-on environments, balancing strategy with execution in lean organizations
  • Alignment with or openness to mindfulness, meditation, or consciousness-based practices is strongly preferred

Compensation & Benefits The base salary for this position is $175,000 to $200,000, with the opportunity to earn up to anadditional$50,000 annually through performance-based incentives.
