Salesforce NonProfit Cloud Administrator
Senior Salesforce Administrator (Nonprofit Cloud) REMOTE IN (MN, WI, CA, ID, MS, FL, GA, KY, VA, NY) Role Overview A mission-driven organization is seeking a Senior Salesforce Administrator to own the launch, stabilization, and ongoing management of Salesforce as a core enterprise platform. This role is responsible for guiding the organization through an imminent go-live, establishing scalable best practices, and enabling internal teams to successfully adopt and maintain Salesforce over time. The ideal candidate brings strong Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud (NPC) experience and excels at communication, training, and platform governance. While supported by developers and partners, this position serves as the primary internal Salesforce leader and trusted advisor to business stakeholders. This is a hands-on role with a focus on enablement and stewardship rather than deep custom development . Key Responsibilities: Salesforce Platform Ownership
- Serve as the primary administrator responsible for day-to-day Salesforce operations and long-term platform health
- Support the organization through Salesforce go-live and post-launch stabilization
- Configure and maintain core platform functionality including objects, fields, flows, validations, roles, permissions, and reports
- Establish and document administrative standards, governance models, and operational processes
Enablement & Adoption
- Train internal teams on Salesforce usage, best practices, and ongoing enhancements
- Translate business needs into practical Salesforce solutions that support program delivery and growth
- Act as a bridge between technical partners and non-technical stakeholders to ensure shared understanding and adoption
Communication & Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner closely with leadership and program teams to align Salesforce capabilities with organizational goals
- Lead conversations around prioritization, roadmap planning, and change management
- Promote platform consistency and accountability across departments
Continuous Improvement
- Monitor data quality, user experience, and system effectiveness
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve reporting and insights
- Support integrations or low-code tools as needed (experience with low-code platforms is a plus, not required)
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of Salesforce experience
- Hands-on Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud (NPC) experience — required
- Proven experience administering Salesforce in an enterprise or complex nonprofit environment
- Strong communicator with experience training users and guiding organizational change
- Demonstrated ability to define and implement Salesforce best practices and governance
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with leadership, internal teams, and external partners
