Licensed Clinical Social Worker/Students Seeking Supervision

Job Overview We are currently seeking Licensed Clinical Social Workers and Social Work students seeking supervision to join our team. Qualified individuals will receive supervision from Maryland Board Approved clinical social workers as part of fringe package. Ocean Front strives to grow and develop licensed graduates into independent practicing clinicians. Social Worker responsibilities include:

• Planning, coordinating, and implementing behavior intervention plans to help clients, their families, and care team thrive in their environment
• Interviewing clients and clients' stakeholders and assessing their current condition, needs, strengths and weaknesses
• Providing services that address the various needs of the clients and families through setting tailored measurable goals
• Working with children and adults with disabilities in the home, residential, and community settings.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, manage and implement behavior intervention plans to help clients with disabilities in a variety of settings
• Interview service users and assess their current condition, needs, strengths and weaknesses
• Address each case as a unit and set tailored measurable goals
• Monitor and evaluate clients’ progress and modify treatment plans accordingly
• Offer information and counseling on the best course of action during sessions
• Maintain accurate records and report on clients’ status
• Act as a resource and cooperate with multidisciplinary teams
• Refer clients to community services

Requirements and skills

• Working knowledge of social theories and practices
• Social perceptiveness and empathy
• Ability to build and maintain professional helping relationships
• Ability to relate and communicate with diverse population and groups
• Resilience along with ability to assess situations
• Willing to submit to background checks
• Ability to handle challenging situations with grace
• Master’s of Social Work Graduate
• LMSW certificate
