Bilingual Virtual School-Based Speech Therapy - Illinois

A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in telespeech services, with bilingual capabilities. This role supports students in a school setting, providing essential communication interventions through virtual platforms. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized speech-language therapy via telespeech to students requiring support.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in a remote learning environment.
• Collaborate with educators and families to develop and implement tailored treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of progress notes and therapy sessions.
• Adapt therapy techniques to meet the diverse linguistic and cultural needs of bilingual students.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Valid state licensure and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Experience providing telespeech therapy in an educational setting.
• Bilingual proficiency enhancing communication and therapy effectiveness with diverse student populations.
• Strong knowledge of speech and language development milestones and disorders in children.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills to effectively manage remote caseloads.
