Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW or LMSW)
About the position Family of Kidz is hiring and has immediate openings for a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW). This role involves working with children in an engaging and high-energy environment. The position is located at the White Plains clinic and various preschools in the surrounding areas. The working hours are during the school year, typically Monday to Friday, between 8 am and 4 pm or 9 am and 5 pm. This is a fee-for-service position with rates ranging from $60-$70 per hour, determined by services provided, professional experience, and license/certifications. Since 1998, Family of Kidz has been dedicated to helping children with special needs, from birth to adulthood, by establishing a strong understanding of each child's needs and teaching them skills for greater independence and an enhanced quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Provide group and individual counseling/parent training, as mandated by a student’s IEP
- Maintain all documentation on clients (log notes, progress notes and reports, annual review reports)
- Develop social-emotional curriculum for social skills groups
- Participate in annual review meetings, and other meetings as needed
- Ensure compliance with all pertinent government and agency regulations and operating standards
- Maintain knowledge of current research and trends in the field of social work
Requirements
- LCSW or LMSW
- NYS Licensed
- Experience working with children and their families
- Minimum of (1) year experience working in a setting focusing on supporting children and their families
- Passionate to work with children, families and therapists
