CFO - SaaS and IPO experience required

Our client is a growing SaaS company is looking for an industry experienced CFO with IPO experience from a VC backed company.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of the company’s finance and accounting organization
• Partner closely with the CEO, Board, and investors on strategic planning and execution
• Drive IPO readiness initiatives, including SEC reporting, SOX compliance, audit readiness, and public company infrastructure
• Lead relationships with investment banks, auditors, legal counsel, and institutional investors
• Oversee FP&A, accounting, treasury, tax, cash management, and financial operations
• Build scalable financial systems, reporting processes, and operational metrics
• Develop and manage SaaS KPI reporting, including ARR, MRR, CAC, LTV, churn, gross retention, and net revenue retention
• Support fundraising activities, debt/equity financing, and strategic transactions
• Provide leadership around forecasting, budgeting, board reporting, and long-range planning
• Build and mentor a high-performing finance and accounting team
• Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership regarding growth, profitability, and operational efficiency

Requirements

• Prior experience as CFO or senior finance executive within a high-growth SaaS/software company
• Must have direct IPO experience, including leading or playing a key leadership role in taking a company public
• Strong understanding of SaaS business models, recurring revenue accounting, and public company reporting requirements
• Experience working with venture-backed and/or private equity-backed companies
• Proven ability to operate in fast-paced, high-growth environments
• Strong capital markets, investor relations, and board communication experience
• Experience scaling finance organizations and implementing public company controls/processes
• CPA and/or investment banking background is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $600,000.00 - $700,000.00 per year Benefits:
