Senior GIS Analyst – Linear Referencing
Job Description:
- This is a remote position.
- We are seeking a GIS Consultant with experience supporting gas utility pipeline systems and compliance‑driven spatial workflows.
- The position centers on ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Pipeline Referencing (LRS), SQL, Python automation, and the ability to interpret complex spatial data with a high degree of accuracy.
- You will work with linear referencing systems, pipeline attributes, and spatial models that directly support safety, engineering, and compliance reporting.
- This role requires someone who can work independently, communicate clearly with technical and non‑technical stakeholders, and manage data that supports mission‑critical decisions in regulated environments.
Requirements:
- Advanced proficiency with ESRI ArcGIS Pro
- Hands‑on experience with ArcGIS Pipeline Referencing (LRS) for gas utilities
- Strong GIS data analysis and spatial data troubleshooting
- SQL and relational database experience
- Python scripting for automation and repeatable workflows
- Ability to produce clear, accurate mapping and visualization outputs
