- Valid teaching certification (General Education or ESL preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education or a closely related field
- Previous experience teaching English as a Second Language or General Education in a school setting
- Strong understanding of cultural diversity and differentiated instruction
- Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management skills
- Comfort working with a diverse student population in various grade levels
Role Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging ESL lessons tailored to individual student needs
- Adapt curriculum content and assessments to support English Language Learners
- Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom where students feel encouraged to participate and express themselves
- Utilize effective teaching strategies to support language acquisition and content understanding
- Track student progress and provide feedback to families and staff
- Collaborate with general education teachers to coordinate instructional support and accommodations
- Participate in school meetings, professional development, and parent conferences as needed
