Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Temporary Copy Editor - Data Entry Specialist to join our team for approximately three months. As a key member of our content team, you'll be responsible for reviewing, editing, and updating pre-written lessons according to arenaflex's rigorous standards. Your attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively will be essential in ensuring the accuracy, alignment, and accessibility of our lesson content.

Key Responsibilities

* Review, edit, and update pre-written lessons according to arenaflex's standards, ensuring accuracy, alignment, and accessibility

• Collaborate with a team of content, technology, and education experts to ensure seamless integration of lessons and platforms
• Follow established workflows and editing best practices in the editing process, with the ability to iterate and expand upon these workflows and documentation as needed
• Work remotely with a flexible schedule, ensuring timely completion of tasks and meeting deadlines
• Data entry into Learning Management System (LMS) and Content Management System (CMS) platforms, with the ability to proof and update content as needed to align with overall lesson and platform goals
• Ensure language alignment throughout all lessons, with a strong attention to detail and ability to identify and correct errors
• Document workflows and best practices, including contributing to the creation of editing and language guides
• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless communication and feedback, with the ability to take direction and feedback constructively

Essential Qualifications

+ 2+ years of experience in copy editing, lesson planning, and data entry, with a strong focus on educational standards and learning objectives + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and take feedback and direction + Strong attention to detail, with the ability to ensure accuracy and alignment throughout all lessons + Ability to follow established guidelines and workflows, with the ability to iterate and expand upon these workflows and documentation as needed + Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritize work with excellent efficiency and high quality + Self-starter with a "can-do" attitude, demonstrating willingness to accept accountability and responsibility for individual actions

Preferred Qualifications

+ Knowledge of music-related terminology and/or music experience + Knowledge of UX design principles to support developing engaging lesson materials
