Experienced Chat Operator – Automotive Industry Customer Engagement Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

* Engage in online conversations with customers, representing our automotive dealer clients favorably

  • Turn conversations into leads that help our clients generate revenue
  • Utilize your gaming experience to create a fun and engaging experience for customers
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement effective chat strategies
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics, including chat volume, response time, and customer satisfaction

Requirements:

* Must live within the state of Kansas

  • Must have your own computer or laptop with a webcam, second monitor, microphone, and external mouse
  • Computer must have a minimum of 8 GB of RAM, 64-bit Operating System, and 8th Generation Intel Core (i3 equivalent or higher)
  • Quiet, dedicated workspace free from distractions (this is a remote position)
  • Ability to attend 4 weeks of remote training, Tuesday - Saturday between the hours of 11am-7:30pm EDT
  • Must be able to type at least 35 WPM, 40 and above is preferred
  • Gaming experience is preferred

Essential Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (communications, marketing, etc.) preferred

  • 1+ year of experience in customer service, sales, or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience in the automotive industry or a related field

  • Familiarity with chat software and online platforms
  • Strong typing skills (40+ WPM)
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software

Skills and Competencies:

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Strong typing skills (35+ WPM)
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
