Responsibilities

As a Retail Customer Service Representative II, you'll be responsible for:

  • Responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Processing complex orders with 100% accuracy from intake to filing
  • Ensuring our customer management system is up-to-date and accurate
  • Clarifying, diagnosing, and resolving customer order issues
  • Scheduling appointments with homeowners and delivering exceptional customer service
  • Creating packets or other materials as required for sales fulfillment process
  • Handling permits and inspections with precision and attention to detail
  • Preparing customer correspondence and communicating effectively with internal teams
  • Identifying opportunities to improve our level of service and implementing changes
  • Communicating order fulfillment process information to internal delivery partners and providing customer/delivery partner feedback
  • Administering programs, such as our customer referral program
  • Training others in office and customer service processes
  • Creating purchase orders, processing payments, and processing receipts as needed

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, plus 2-4 years of work experience, including order processing work
  • Demonstrated proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and general computer skills
  • Strong phone etiquette and verbal skills to facilitate problem resolution
  • Intermediate writing skills to effectively communicate with customers and internal teams
  • The ability to determine customer needs and assist in resolving issues for assigned areas

Nice-to-Haves

While not required, the following skills and qualifications would be beneficial:

  • Experience working in a hybrid model or remote environment
  • Familiarity with customer management systems and software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Experience in sales or customer-facing roles
