Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative/Cashier at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Greeting customers in a professional and friendly manner, scheduling appointments, and collecting vehicle and customer information
  • Preparing repair orders (R.O's), arranging towing and temporary transportation, and maintaining automotive records by recording problems
  • Keeping the customer service area clean and orderly, processing customer invoices and payments, and completing customer appointment reminder processes
  • Stocking parts and supplies, and providing exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Interacting with customers over the phone and in person to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns, and requests about vehicles and services

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A friendly and positive demeanor, with excellent customer service skills
  • Basic data entry and computer skills, including light lifting (no more than 50 lbs.)
  • Basic math skills and the ability to accurately follow processes and procedures
  • Auto industry experience is preferred but not required
  • The ability to pay attention to detail and accurately follow processes and procedures
  • Training will be provided to ensure your success in this role

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications would be beneficial:

  • Experience in the automotive industry
  • Basic estimating knowledge and product knowledge
  • Quality focus and productivity
  • Reporting research results

Skills and Competencies

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and data entry software
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods
