Responsibilities

As a Mechanical Customer Service Expert at arenaflex, your responsibilities will include:

  • Handling and carefully responding to all customer inquiries with care and attention to detail
  • Providing excellent customer service through active listening, empathy, and a customer-centric approach
  • Working with confidential customer information and treating it sensitively, maintaining the highest standards of data protection and security
  • Aiming to resolve issues on the first call by being proactive, resourceful, and solution-focused
  • Appropriately communicating with customers through various channels, including phone, email, and chat
  • Calmly attempting to resolve and de-escalate any issues that may arise, using effective conflict resolution skills
  • Escalating interactions when necessary and appropriate, ensuring that customers receive the support they need
  • Tracking all call-related information for auditing and reporting purposes, maintaining accurate records and providing valuable insights
  • Providing feedback on call issues, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to the development of our customer service strategy

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • Ability to work remotely in a virtual team environment, with a strong focus on collaboration and communication
  • 6 months of customer service experience, preferably in a similar role or industry
  • Over 18 years of age, with a valid government-issued ID
  • Ability to type 25 words per minute, with accuracy and speed
  • High School Graduate or GED, with a strong foundation in communication and problem-solving skills
  • Comfort with desktop computer systems, including Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office
  • Proven oral and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and solutions
  • Logical problem-solving skills, with a focus on creative and innovative solutions
  • Ability to navigate Windows operating systems, with a strong understanding of computer hardware and software

Nice-to-Haves

While the following qualifications are not essential, they're highly desirable:

  • Experience working in a similar role or industry, with a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices
  • Familiarity with CRM software and other customer service tools, with a strong focus on data analysis and reporting
  • Certification in customer service, such as Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR) or Certified Customer Service Manager (CCSM)
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a strong focus on adaptability and flexibility
