Interim Head of Supply Chain & Logistics
Think is seeking an
- *Interim Head of Supply Chain & Logistics
to be responsible for driving performance across service, cost, and quality while aligning local and global stakeholders. The role requires strong transformation experience, operational excellence, and the ability to lead complex, matrixed organizations.
- *Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Supply Chain & Logistics function within the market, ensuring achievement of performance targets across service levels, cost efficiency, and quality.
- Act as a central point of coordination between market, business unit, and global supply chain stakeholders to align priorities and objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across supply chain processes and systems.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the local SCM organization while enabling effective collaboration with international and global teams.
- Oversee the development and execution of supply chain transformation initiatives, including warehousing and logistics optimization.
- Lead project management activities to implement improved logistics structures and capabilities.
- Identify and deliver cost-saving opportunities while enhancing operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure a structured and effective transition to the permanent Head of Supply Chain.
- Foster a high-performance culture and support the development of team members.
- *Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Engineering, Economics, or a related field; additional education in Supply Chain or Logistics is preferred.
- 20+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management, ideally within a technical or industrial environment.
- Proven leadership experience within a matrix organization, including collaboration with global centers of excellence.
- Strong background in supply chain transformation, business case development, planning, execution, and global network management.
- Deep expertise in Lean principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Demonstrated experience in project and program management within complex supply chain environments.
