Tax Preparer/CPA
Bryson Accounting & Tax Service, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused CPA Tax Preparer to join our growing team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on both current and prior-year tax returns, with a strong focus on resolving complex or overdue filings for individuals and businesses. The position primarily involves preparing and reviewing Form 1040 with Schedule C, as well as Partnership and Corporate Income Tax Returns. Many clients are referred through our affiliated Bryson Law Firm, LLC, meaning you will frequently work with individuals and business owners who need knowledgeable guidance, patience, and a strategic approach to getting their tax matters back on track. Unlike a traditional seasonal tax preparation role, a significant portion of our work involves past-due and catch-up filings. This creates a more consistent, steady workflow throughout the year, rather than the typical boom-and-bust pace of tax season. Key Responsibilities: 1. Client Information Management & Collaboration: Gather and organize detailed financial and tax-related information from clients in a professional, attentive, and customer-service-driven manner. Collaborate closely with the internal teams at Bryson Accounting & Tax Service, LLC and Bryson Law Firm, LLC to ensure all tax returns are prepared accurately, completely, and within established timelines. 2. Tax File Oversight & Internal Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact within the Bryson team regarding the status and progress of each client’s tax file. Provide clear updates to staff and ensure all team members have current information on each case. 3. Workflow Coordination & Client Communication: Maintain and manage internal tax preparation checklists for each client file. Develop and implement proactive communication plans to keep clients informed throughout the preparation process, ensuring transparency and a smooth client experience. 4. Client Experience & Tax Season Operations: Help uphold the high standard of client service associated with the Bryson brand. Assist with the planning and implementation of annual tax-season initiatives, coordinate the final delivery and review of completed returns with clients, and support operational processes that ensure an efficient and positive client experience.
