With a focus on growth and sustainability GE Vernova Grid Solutions plays a pivotable role in integrating Renewables onto the grid to drive to carbon neutral.Due to the growth of our HVDC & ACIS business, we are looking for a self-motivated Resource Manager to support our strong ramp- up.Your Mission: The Construction & Commissioning Resource Dispatcher is responsible for overseeing the efficient allocation and management of Construction & Commissioning Staff and Tools during Tendering and Execution of Projects, in coordination with the related People Leader of the staff and Project Teams.100 % Office based (Hybrid)Join us and enjoy playing a major role to enhance the Central Europe Construction & Commissioning function with fresh ideas!Main Tasks/Responsibilities:1. Resource Planning and Allocation:Develop and implement resource plans and processes for construction and commissioning activities.Ensure optimal allocation of labour and Tools to meet project deadlines under use of a Resource Management Tool .Monitor resource utilization and adjust as necessary to avoid bottlenecks and keep utilization rate high.2. Project Coordination:Collaborate with Project managers, Construction & Commissioning Managers, and subcontractors to ensure alignment of resource needs with project schedules.Facilitate communication between various stakeholders to resolve resource-related issues.3 Training/ Development and Certification: Manage internal certification processes for Construction & Commissioning staffWork on Training and Development plans with the related People Leader of the staff and organize trainings4. Reporting/ Forecasting:Prepare utilization reports and workload forecasts as basis for a long- term hiring strategy5. Mobilization:Start Visa Processes via GE Mobilization ToolsClarify Visa subjects with GE Visa Partners and ensure Visa availability on timeClarify customs subjects related to equipment or materialWork on training and development plans with the related People Leader of the staff and organize trainings6. Tool Management:Ensure that Tools are maintained and calibration is up to dateDevelop a Tool strategy to maximise utilizationYour Profile:Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on resource planningProficiency in resource management software and project management toolsExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Strong knowledge of construction processes, methodologies, and best practices.Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlinesStrong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to provide clear verbal and written reporting (English & German required).Proactive mindset with the ability to recommend and approve corrective actions.Why we come to work:At GE Vernova, our employees are always up for the challenge - and we're always driven to find the best solution.
